My Story

Δέσποινα Κάρυου: Ιδρύτρια και Διευθύντρια του Εργαστηρίου Καλών Τεχνών 7ARts:

H Δέσποινα Κάρυου γεννήθηκε στις 7 Απριλίου το 1991, στο Παραλίμνι της ελεύθερης Αμμοχώστου, της όμορφης Κύπρου. Εξασφάλισε θέση στην Ανώτατη Σχολή Καλών Τεχνών Αθήνας το 2010, πραγματοποιώντας το όνειρο της και Αποφοίτησε το 2015, από το Ε' Εργαστήριο με Διδάσκοντα Καθηγητή τον κο. Μιχάλη Μανουσάκη.

Αριστούχος Πτυχιούχος Απόφοιτος της Σχολής, σήμερα είναι Καθηγήτρια και Εικαστικός Τέχνης.

Με την επιστροφή της στην Κύπρο, εργάζεται, συνεργάζεται και συμμετέχει σε πολλά εικαστικά δρώμενα, σε όλη την Κύπρο, με αφετηρία την Επαρχία Αμμοχώστου.

Ενώ παράλληλα διδάσκει Εικαστικά και εργάζεται ως Ζωγράφος και Αγιογράφος στo Εργαστήρι Καλών Τεχνών 7ΑRts Art Lab (https://www.facebook.com/okeanosfandasias/), το οποίο ίδρυσε και διευθύνει η ίδια με την επιστροφή της.

Despina Karyou: Founder and Director of 7ARts Fine Arts Lab:

Despina Karyou was born on April 7th in 1991, in Paralimni, in the free area of Ammochostos (Famagusta),  Cyprus.

She secured a place in the Athens School of Fine Arts, a dream come true, and in 2015 she graduated from the School with Honors, under the guidance of Professor Michael Manousakis.

Since her return to Cyprus, she works, collaborates and participates in many visual events throughout the island, always starting with Famagusta District.

Within her time, Despina Founded and headed the 7ARts Art Lab Fine Art Workshop (https://www.facebook.com/okeanosfandasias/), through which she teaches Fine Arts and Works as a Painter and Hagiographer.
